Tower Heist

In this unsuspecting film, numerous visual effects shots were distributed across various post-production houses in New York. My responasblity was the greenscreen views from the tower penthouse. To establish continuity, proxy geometry played a pivotal role in aligning the skyline within the tower windows. The scenes were further elevated through the integration of layers of digital matte paintings, ensuring correct parallax and a realistic visual depth. To enhance the authenticity, the apartment and car were modeled, providing the canvas for reflecting our digital landscape. Despite the abundance of visual effects, they went unnoticed to the casual viewer, who were left to debate the value of a collectible car and its weight in gold.
